Preparatory Meeting for 2024 Water Meter Industry Research Projects of the Water Meter Working Committee, China Metrology Association, Successfully Held in Hangzhou

On May 24, 2024, the preparatory meeting for the 2024 water meter industry research projects, organized by the Water Meter Working Committee of the China Metrology Association, was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The meeting discussed the implementation plan for the 2024 water meter industry research projects. Co-hosted by Hangzhou Water Meter Co., Ltd., attendees included Luo Xinyuan, Chairman of the Water Meter Working Committee; Jiang Fuchun, Vice Chairman; Vice Chairman and Chairman of our company, Liu Jian; as well as members of the project preparatory working group.
The 2024 water meter industry research projects are "Quality Investigation on the Replacement of Expired Smart Water Meters" and "Research on Water Meter Anti-freezing Technology and Solutions". The project selection was determined by focusing on industry pain points, difficulties, and suggestions from member units. Vice Chairmen Jiang Fuchun and Liu Jian have been appointed as project leaders to carry out the research work.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Secretary-General Li Hongwei. After thorough discussions among the participants, the Water Meter Working Committee will actively form project research teams and plans to complete the research projects by June next year. The outcomes will provide important technical support and decision-making references for the high-quality development of the water meter industry.
Participants unanimously agreed that the Water Meter Working Committee should jointly commit to promoting water meter industry research to a higher level, drive innovation to better serve the water industry, and contribute to fostering new quality productive forces for the entire industry!
