University-Enterprise Collaboration, Putting Learning into Practice | Teachers and Students from Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power Visit Our Company for Study Tour
To enhance professional understanding, deepen university-enterprise cooperation, broaden students' perspectives, and improve practical literacy, Dr. Zhao Jinhui and Dr. Ma Longbo from the Intelligent Sensing Engineering program of the Automation Teaching and Research Section, School of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power, along with 74 students from Class 1 and Class 2 of the Grade 2023 Intelligent Sensing Engineering program, visited Hangzhou Water Meter for a study tour on June 17. The company's Vice President and CTO, Xuan Junjie, warmly received the delegation.
At the symposium, Mr. Xuan extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students. He introduced the company's basic situation and its main products, providing the visitors with a deeper understanding and appreciation of cutting-edge technological applications in their field. This also allowed them to gain greater insight into Hangzhou Water Meter and the water meter industry as a whole. The students unanimously expressed that they benefited greatly from the session.
Accompanied by relevant company personnel, the teachers and students visited the "Hangshui Impression" exhibition hall and the automated production workshop. They learned about the corporate culture of "Originating from the Water Sector, Understanding it Better" and the entire process of water meter manufacturing. They personally experienced the powerful appeal of intelligent equipment systems, including automatic labeling, automatic potting, automatic welding, automatic assembly, automatic meter verification, automatic packaging, and automated warehousing. The two leading teachers highly affirmed the company's hard strengths, such as its R&D capabilities, business scale, and intelligent manufacturing level.
Following the visit, both parties reached a consensus on strengthening and deepening university-enterprise cooperation. On one hand, our company will provide more opportunities for professional practice to outstanding students.
