Hangzhou Water Meter Wins 2024 Metaverse Data Element Benchmark — "Golden Apricot Award"! Empowering the Industry's Digital Transformation and Upgrading.
On October 22, the award ceremony of the "2024 Metaverse Data Element" National Competition was held at the Xinglin Villa of the State Council in Fragrant Hills, Beijing. Hangzhou Water Meter's submitted project, "Building a Measurement Large Model: Transforming 'Water Metering' into 'Water Management,'" stood out among 192 competing entries and won the third prize of the "Metaverse Benchmark—Golden Apricot Award." The company was also presented with an honorary certificate signed and sealed by the Chairman of the Metaverse Industry Committee of the China Mobile Communications Association, among other academicians.
Metaverse Benchmark—"Golden Apricot Award" The 2024 National "Data Element" Metaverse Competition is one of the first nine third-party events announced by the National Data Administration to qualify for recommendations to the national finals of the 2024 "Data Element ×" competition. After over two months of preparation, the competition attracted 192 projects from 125 teams. Through initial screening, promotional campaigns, video showcases, and expert reviews, outstanding entries and a top 30 were selected. Following supplementary defense sessions, 15 third prizes, 10 second prizes, 5 first prizes, along with grand awards and project recommendation awards, were ultimately determined through multiple rounds of intense competition. Building a Measurement Large Model: Transforming "Water Metering" into "Water Management" The project "Building a Measurement Large Model: Transforming 'Water Metering' into 'Water Management'" was led by Suzhou Water Meter Industry, with participation from Hangzhou Water Meter and Jiangzhong Instrument. Focusing on constructing an elemental model for smart water management, the project leverages data transmitted by intelligent terminals as the driving force to address practical challenges faced by water utilities. Utilizing technologies such as big data and cloud platforms, it proposes innovative solutions for the water industry, promoting further digital transformation in smart water management and empowering high-quality development in the sector. Hangzhou Water Meter is honored to have collaborated with outstanding industry peers in this national-level project, achieving prestigious recognition and contributing constructive efforts to the advancement of the industry.
