Li Yueguang, Secretary-General of China Instrument Manufacturing Association, Visits Hangzhou Water Meter for Research and Exchange
On November 4, Li Yueguang, Secretary-General of the China Instrument and Meter Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as “CIMA”), visited Hangzhou Water Meter Co., Ltd. for research and exchange. Chairman Liu Jian, Assistant General Manager and Trade Union Chairman Zhou Qi, along with other representatives, warmly accompanied and hosted the delegation throughout the visit.
About China Instrument and Meter Industry Association (CIMA)
Established in 1988, the China Instrument and Meter Industry Association currently has over 1,400 member organizations. As the official authoritative body of China's instrument and meter industry, it consists of enterprises engaged in instrument and meter manufacturing, as well as research institutions, design institutes, universities, social organizations, and distributors related to instrument production and application. The association enjoys broad recognition across society.

During the meeting, Chairman Liu Jian extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the association and provided an overview of the company's profile, strategic vision, and core products. After listening to the presentation, Secretary-General Li Yueguang expressed admiration for the company's keen insight and remarkable achievements in technological R&D and market expansion. He introduced CIMA's functional positioning, membership profile, and business scope, noting that Hangzhou Water Meter's rapid development in recent years has drawn significant attention from the association. He emphasized CIMA's willingness to actively facilitate collaboration and exchange between the company and other members within the industry chain to seek mutual benefits. Additionally, he showed strong interest in the company's in-depth cooperation with internationally leading high-end meter enterprises. Both sides analyzed the differences between domestic and foreign products and engaged in thorough discussions on introducing, absorbing, and integrating advanced overseas technologies into the Chinese market. They also explored how to achieve better and faster localization to accelerate the technological advancement of China's instrument and meter industry.
At Hangzhou Water Meter's multimedia exhibition hall and smart manufacturing workshop, Secretary-General Li Yueguang and his delegation gained a detailed understanding of the innovative craftsmanship and customized functions of the company's products. Secretary-General Li expressed great admiration for the company's level of intelligent manufacturing, noting that the adoption of smart production will inject new momentum into the entire instrument and meter industry. He stated that Hangzhou Water Meter has set an example for the industry with its professional and modern intelligent manufacturing equipment, and expressed his intention to share the insights from this visit with member units as much as possible. He looks forward to engaging in multi-faceted exchanges and cooperation with Hangzhou Water Meter in the future.
