On June 15th, the 7th First Member Conference of the China Metrology Association Water Meter Working Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Water Meter Working Committee), jointly organized by our company, Fuzhou Zhenlan Water Meter Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Water Meter Factory Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Dahua Hongqiao Holiday Hotel in Shanghai. After being elected by the general meeting of all members and twice by the new committee, our company has been successfully elected as the vice chairman unit of the 7th Water Meter Working Committee. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Water Meter Working Committee, our company "unlocks" a new identity, shoulders new responsibilities, and embarks on a new journey!
The Water Meter Working Committee, established on September 18, 1998, has 273 members and is the most influential authoritative organization in the industry, which gathers almost all the mainstream water meter manufacturers and major supporting enterprises in China. This organization, approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China and directly led by the China Metrology Association, represents the will of the Chinese water meter industry. It aims to play a bridge and link role between the government and enterprises, actively reflect the opinions and requirements of the water meter industry to relevant national departments, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the water meter industry, provide quality, technology, measurement and other services for water meter enterprises, and carry out exchanges of technical and management experience, Promote the sustained and healthy development of the water meter industry.
At the meeting, we also listened to and reviewed the sixth work report of the Water Meter Working Committee, the 2022 financial report of the Water Meter Working Committee, and the 2023 work plan of the Water Meter Working Committee, announced the list of new entrants, issued membership certificates, and commended exemplary organization. At the same time, we held the first meeting of the seventh committee of the Water Meter Working Committee, and held celebrations to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Water Meter Working Committee. The member units presented exciting and vivid cultural programs, showcasing the spiritual outlook of water meter practitioners in the new era, and received bursts of applause from the audience.
New things are pushed together, and the sun rises without hesitation. Becoming a vice chairman unit is a full recognition of the rapid development of Hangzhou water meters in recent years and the efforts made to promote industry progress. We deeply feel the responsibility lies on our shoulders. In the future, the company will actively fulfill its duties and responsibilities. Under the leadership of the China Metrology Association, we will collaborate with all member units to fully implement the new development concept, and strive to make greater contributions to writing a new chapter of high-quality development in China's water meter industry!
